What is in a Vertical Binder KIT?

👉 A complete kit gives you a balanced, pre-dosed system for consistent results. Each kit covers approx 1 m² or 5 linear metres of steps (assuming an average step of 200mm) and contains:

• Resin Mill Vertical resin (1.8 kg) - UV stable, waterproof 3 part system: 0.9kg Part A + 0.9kg Part B.
• Stone Carpet Catalyst and dosing syringe - for a controlled cure time.
• 1x Bag of Stone (25 kg) - decorative 1-3mm stone, available in 14 colours.

Important: the mix uses 12.5 kg of stone.
One kit mixes with approx 12.5 kg of 1-3mm stone, half of the 25 kg bag supplied. Dusty natural aggregate takes the full 12.5 kg; use less with coloured quartz or other non-dusty stone. Maximum recommended stone size is 2-3mm.

Application guideline

Resin Mill Vertical is an extremely thixotropic version of our premium resin: it dries virtually water white, is UV stable and will not discolour. Application in 5 steps:

1. Thoroughly mix Part B into Part A.
2. Add 10-15ml of catalyst with the syringe and mix well (25ml in winter months).
3. Apply a liberal coat of the mixed resin to the vertical surface as a primer, typically 0.5kg or just over a quarter of the mix.
4. Mix the remaining resin with approx 12.5kg of 1-3mm aggregate until all stones are evenly coated.
5. Trowel the stone onto the vertical surface while the primer is still wet, at an even depth of 5-6mm. In cold conditions add 5ml more catalyst if the resin cures too slowly.
